Here is a great idea for lunch or dinner: Steak with cooked and fried vegetables and beetroot salad.
As you can see on the picture I added some fried sweet potatoes. That is not low carb, I know – but when you don’t have to follow the low carb cure strictly, then this is one of the things you can do and still keep your weight.

Lunch steak with vegetables

Ingredients:
Steaks (but chicken breast will do fine as well)Broccoli
Cauliflower
Zucchini
Green salad
Tomatoes
Beetroot
Horseradish
Greek yoghurt or Skyr

Salt

Peel the beetroot and cut it into small bites. Add grated horseradish and Skyr, mix it all and add a little salt.

Cook the cauliflower and broccoli, but only for a few minutes, we want it still to be crunchy.

Fry the zucchini (and the sweet potatoes, if you want that) together with the steaks. Add as much salt as you prefer in your food.

Finally serve it on a dish as you see above, presenting all the different colors, with a leaf of green salad and cut tomatoes.
